Official Rules and Regulations
1. General Provisions
1.1. JDCE – Jaguar Driver’s Club of Estonia (hereinafter referred to as “the Club”) is a voluntary association of car enthusiasts bringing together owners, drivers, and admirers of Jaguar vehicles in Estonia.
1.2. The purpose of the Club is to:
• promote the values and heritage of the Jaguar brand
• support cooperation and communication among members
• organize events, gatherings, and drives
• share technical and historical information about Jaguar vehicles
• represent the Estonian Jaguar community internationally
1.3. The Club operates in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia.
2. Membership
2.1. Admission
2.1.1. The following may become members of the Club:
• an owner of a Jaguar vehicle
• a user of a Jaguar vehicle
• an admirer of the Jaguar brand
2.1.2. To become a member, one must:
• submit an application
• agree to the Club’s rules
• pay the membership fee
2.1.3. The Board has the right to refuse membership in justified cases (reputational damage, prior violations, etc.).
2.2. Members’ Rights
A Club member has the right to:
• participate in all Club events
• use Club symbols in accordance with the rules
• receive member benefits
2.3. Members’ Obligations
A member agrees to:
• follow the Club’s statutes and rules
• maintain the Club’s good reputation
• communicate respectfully with other members
3. Club Governance
3.1. General Meeting
3.1.1. The highest decision-making body is the General Meeting.
3.1.2. The General Meeting is held at least once a year.
3.1.3. Decisions are made by a simple majority unless otherwise specified.
3.1.4. The final decision is nevertheless made by the Club President, who is a member of the Board and leads the Club.
3.2. Board
3.2.1. The Board consists of 3–7 members.
3.2.2. The Board:
• manages the Club’s daily activities
• plans events
• manages the budget
• represents the Club publicly
4. Code of Conduct and Ethics
4.1. Club members represent the dignity of the Jaguar brand.
4.2. The following are prohibited:
• aggressive driving at Club events
• dangerous maneuvering
• consumption of alcohol or drugs before driving
• misuse of Club symbols
4.3. On social media:
• spreading misinformation is prohibited
• damaging the Club’s reputation is prohibited
• discussions must remain polite
5. Events and Gatherings
5.1. The Club organizes:
• season opening and closing events
• group drives
• exhibitions
• charity events
5.2. At events:
• traffic laws must be followed
• organizers’ instructions must be obeyed
• other road users must be respected
5.3. At international events:
• Estonia and JDCE must be represented with dignity
• the laws of the host country must be followed
6. Vehicle Standards
6.1. At official parades and representative events:
• vehicles must be clean and well-maintained
• technical faults must be resolved
• excessive visual tuning is not recommended
6.2. Preservation of originality is encouraged, but tasteful modernization is permitted.
7. Disciplinary Measures
7.1. In case of rule violations, the Board may:
• issue a verbal warning
• issue a written warning
• suspend membership
• expel a member from the Club
7.2. A member has the right to appeal the decision to the General Meeting.
8. Club Symbols
8.1. The use of the JDCE logo and name:
• is permitted only for members
• for commercial purposes only with Board approval
8.2. Symbols must reflect the dignity of the Jaguar brand.
9. Financial Rules
9.1. The Club’s sources of income:
• membership fees
• sponsorship
• event fees
9.2. Club funds are used for:
• organizing events
• marketing
• administrative expenses
9.3. The Board presents a financial report once a year.
. Amendment of Rules
10.1. The rules may be amended by a decision of the General Meeting.
10.2. Amendments take effect after approval.
